Halloj!

My name is Emil Schönström. I’m a Portland, OR based Video Editor and Motion Graphics Animator. I grew up in Sweden, and moved to San Francisco to get my BFA in Motion Picture & Television.

After graduating, I spent a few months working in SF, and moved up to Portland where I’ve lived for the past 11 years as an advertising editor for all kinds of brands.

I have a strong foundation in Adobe Creative Suite and DaVinci Resolve while also being proficient in Avid. Having worked as a full-service editor for most of my career I’ve developed the ability to handle most surprises. I’m passionate about authenticity and always make sure my projects connect with their audience.
